This role will work closely with our data science teams on the development of custom machine learning algorithms, tailored and solving some of the most common problems that our customers face. This person will be hands on in defining requirements, prioritizing, and building the roadmap for our core product.
Responsibilities:
- Work with customers and data scientists to understand the needs for custom ML problems and define the requirements, build specifications, and scope effort for each.
- Prioritize and ensure timely development of models, which covers the entire ML development life-cycle from problem definition, through data collection, labeling, model training, deployment, and upkeep.
- Build the long term roadmap, which includes the generalization of multiple algorithms, and the GTM strategy around these.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Math, CS, data science/engineering or equivalent analytical degree
- 3-5 years of relevant professional experience
- Familiarity with Machine Learning, hands on experience strongly preferred.
- Strong product thinking, and understanding of Product best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience leading technical teams.
- Experience with IoT data streams and business context
- Ability to be-self-sufficient and execute quickly when given autonomy
- Flexible team player who will thrive in a dynamic, constantly evolving environment
