We have team members located across the United States spanning multiple time zones. This means we put in extra effort to make sure we connect and collaborate in ways that make sense for us. We know how valuable the flexibility of remote work is for our employees.
We know that personal connection is the foundation for the great work we do together. In order to build those relationships with team members in other cities, we meet with coworkers in person two times a year at a full company offsite and a departmental offsite. These offsites are expected of employees and are great opportunities to meet the people you work with every day and to do some of the work that is much more difficult to do virtually.
What The Role Is
Babylist's eCommerce business is growing rapidly, and with that growth comes complexity. The fulfillment and operations product team develops the technology that powers our eCommerce experience, meeting the needs of new parents as well as our internal business teams. As a Technical Product Manager, you will be responsible for crafting solutions that will help scale Babylist into a billion dollar enterprise, while also having a meaningful impact on families embarking on a new life journey.
This role will report to the Group Product Manager of Supply Chain, and have an active part in defining and executing on an ambitious growth strategy for Babylist.
Who You Are
- You're an experienced Product Manager, with at least 5 years of experience in an agile development environment
- You have at least 2 years of experience in an operations, supply chain, ecommerce, or similar industry
- You have worked in highly cross-functional roles, managing the needs of various technical and non-technical stakeholders when executing projects
- You have experience with systems integration, data flow, APIs and automation of manual processes, and you can discuss system architecture with technical counterparts
- You are able to work with ambiguity, and define executable projects from initially unclear priorities and requirements
- You are highly analytical, leveraging data and process improvement techniques to objectively define priorities action items
- You have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and can express ideas effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences
How You Will Make An Impact
- Drive the full product lifecycle for your roadmap - discovery, definition and validation, development, launch, and iteration
- Partner closely with engineering to define and execute on new initiatives, leveraging design, UX, and other customer-facing teams as necessary for user-facing impacts
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering leadership to prioritize requests across many stakeholders, primarily including Operations, Merchandising, Planning, Accounting, Finance, and Customer Service
- Define meaningful and relevant metrics for your space, work with data and engineering teams to define these metrics, and then contextualize and communicate the impact to the rest of the organization.
- Preference to be proficient in SQL, but not required

Babylist takes a market-based approach to pay, and pay may vary depending on your location. Your actual base salary will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location.
The estimated pay range for this role is $138,000.00 - $199,000.00
In addition, Babylist offers equity, bonus, and benefits, including company paid health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, flexible spending account, and paid leave (including PTO and parental leave) in accordance with our applicable plans and policies.
