CSC is seeking Senior Marketplace Manager to lead the marketplace strategy. It will be a combination of proven items and new items and categories to maximize sales and profitability. Using data from the marketplaces and other company owned websites optimize the assortment. Apply your knowledge of marketplace and ecommerce best practices. Work on product listings to maximize both exposure and conversion. Run tests to determine additional assortment opportunities and take advantage of any trend changes. Track both initial sales and shipping reports to ensure service metrics are being met or exceeded.
This position will report into the Senior Vice President of Planning.
What you get to do every day:
- Day to day management of marketplace sales, promotions, marketing, and forecasting
- Manage and track performance and profitability of channel
- Drive growth and hit financial targets in partnership with Senior Management
- Optimize product portfolio and content
- A/B test product pages to maximize conversion
- Work with vendors and internal partners to forecast inventory needs
- Plan, review, and adjust marketplace promos to maximize sales and profitability
What you bring to the role:
- Highly motivated and can work independently, detail orientated, organized, and efficient
- Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results
- Proven data management and analytical skills
- Experience at using data to create actionable strategies
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- 2 years+ experience in managing marketplace sales
- Time management skills
- Effective communicator that can quickly pivot as business needs change
