Our Growth Marketing Department is looking for a talented team lead to serve as the Senior Manager of Influencer Marketing. The right candidate should have 4+ years of experience — and should be equally comfortable in a strategic position as well as a tactical/executional one when it comes to planning and deploying 360-degree influencer marketing campaigns.
This is a remote job, and is open to candidates based within the state(s) of California, Pennsylvania, Idaho, New York, Florida, Georgia, or Texas, and must have the right to work within the United States.
About the Role:
This position is responsible for supporting the Performance and Growth Marketing Department with on-time delivery of accurate, effective, objective-driven client programs.
The Senior Influencer Marketing Manager is responsible for content & influencer marketing campaign management across a diverse agency client roster (DTC, e-commerce, retail, and more). We call our service “Performance Influencer” as we measure every dollar invested into tracked revenue for our clients and we utilize Influencer content to drive performance and conversions and repurpose this content on multiple channels. Multi-campaign project management and/or agency experience is required. This position is responsible leading our team’s influencer strategy development, execution, and strategic reporting — as well as all process management, internal and external communication and deliverable management.
What You’ll Do:
- Serve as a team lead of a small group of Influencer Marketing Managers and ensure they have the proper tools, training, and resources to support our clients.
- Serve as a player / coach – both responsible for team and individual goals.
- Ideate and implement one time and/or recurring campaigns — leading everything from influencer discovery to outreach, negotiation, creative deliverable management.
- Ensure content and creative can be repurposed into Performance Marketing campaigns (whitelisting, ad creation, and full funnel use).
- Develop innovative strategies for social and digital platforms, such as TikTok, Instagram, and other social channels.
- Source, onboard, negotiate, and manage influencer relationships & campaign deliverables.
- Build and distribute influencer-facing creative briefs and contracts, and review content to ensure it meets stakeholder expectations.
- Use performance data to create scalable processes that allow the program to grow quickly and effectively.
- Use best-practices to utilize influencer content to drive performance, conversions, and boosted reach through the use of paid media ad spend (whitelisting, repurposing content on brand’s accounts, and boosted posts).
- Manage clients’ budget, allocate spending across different channel strategies to meet and fulfill a full-funnel strategy.
- Balance strategy work with executional tasks such as talent seeding, negotiations, projections, tracking, and attribution.
- Actively work with our clients in determining influencer opportunities that align with their brand strategy for future months and quarters.
- Collaborate with Darkroom’s Performance Marketing teams to learn what content performs best in advertisements, make whitelisting recommendations, and create a feedback loop for future campaign improvements.
- Work cross-departmentally to analyze social media/content marketing data and build reporting decks/presentations to client stakeholders and assess performance, areas for scale, and effectiveness against internal KPIs.
You should apply if this sounds like you:
- 4-5+ years relevant experience in influencer marketing management (not including internships)
- 2+ years in social media management, content marketing or a related field.
- 1-2+ years in a leadership or management role (agency setting is a plus).
- Proven track record of end-to-end influencer campaign management (strategy development, influencer discovery, outreach and rate negotiations, campaign reporting and analysis).
- Understanding of how influencer content can drive conversions, through organic, paid, and boosted reach on Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, etc.
- Confident communication skills with experience in influencer/talent/creator communication, relationship-building & negotiation skills.
- Strong project management skills: Capable of managing multiple influencer campaigns across a variety of clients at one time while effectively meeting deadlines.
- Experience with discovery/automation platforms used to source, evaluate and manage influencer relationships (Dovetale, Grin, etc.)
- TikTok campaign ideation, creative planning, and analysis is a plus.
- Proven ability to work productively in autonomous and team settings alike.
- Experience using data and metrics to measure impact, drive actionable results and determine areas of opportunity and improvement.
- Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills with experience maintaining influencer contacts/networks.

- A creative mind who can bring innovative, consumer mindset-oriented ideas to the table for growing brand presence and awareness.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent verbal, written, and presentation-oriented communication skills.
