Sales Channel Account Manager
Job Description
We are on the hunt for a sharp and innovative Sales Channel Account Manager who will acquire, maintains, and expands relationships with assigned and new channel partners and online marketplaces.
- Developing and managing relationships with channel partners to drive sales and revenue.
- Identifying and onboard new partners
- Provide support and training
- Manage the performance of existing partners
- Work with the PIM Manager to ensure all data is accurate across all sales channels
Key Responsibilities
Partner Performance Manager:
- Establishes productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned partner accounts. This includes coordinating with company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, in order to meet partner performance objectives and partners’ expectations.
- Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned partner accounts. Proactively leads a joint partner planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones associated with a productive partner relationship. Ensures partner compliance with partner agreements.
- Works with our PIM Manager to ensure all data is accurate across all sales channels.
- Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates partner needs on an ongoing basis.
- Proactively recruits new qualifying partners. Sells through partner organizations to end-users in coordination with partner sales resources.
- Manages potential channel conflict with other firm sales channels by fostering excellent communication internally and externally, and through strict adherence to channel rules of engagement.
- Leads solution development efforts that best address end-user needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company and partner personnel.
- Drives adoption of company programs among assigned. This includes implementing pricing, promotional campaigns, and other initiatives;
- Ensure compliance with all laws and regulations pertaining to sales channels;
- Track KPIs and report on sales performance on a weekly/monthly basis
SOFTWARE
Ideal applicants at least have experience working with the following or something similar:
- Expert with Shopify and/or similar platforms
- Experience in Amazon is not required but is a plus
- Experience with handling retailers like Target, Walmart, Faire, Home Depot, etc. is not required but is a plus
- Proficiency in CRM software
Some Training Provided But Self-learning Is a Must

Skillset
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of sales techniques and strategies
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with partners
- Time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility and adaptability to change
- A desire to learn and grow in the channel management field
- Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field
Experience
- 3-5 years of experience in channel management
- Experience in managing and optimizing sales channels. Includes technical skills in order to effectively manage and optimize sales channels.
- Experience presenting to partners and stakeholders
- eCommerce experience is a MUST
