Who We’re Looking For - Reporting to the Associate Director, Retail Operations, we are seeking a Retail Operations Coordinator adept at managing retail channels efficiently. In this role, you will work closely with 3PLs, onboard new retailers, and ensuring compliance with vendor guidelines. You'll coordinate new product launches, quality check purchase order lifecycles, and manage sample requests. Additionally, you'll support sales with operational tasks and collaborate on projects to optimize workflows and inventory.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with domestic and international 3pls on retail specific tasks
  • Assist in onboarding new retailers by reviewing vendor guidelines and collaborating with sales, operations, and demand planning
  • Understanding retailer's vendor guidelines and assist with any 3pl questions
  • Prepare 3pls for new product launches in retail by communicating retailer specific requirements to the 3pls (example, RFID tags, kitting, case pack info)
  • Understand the end-to-end purchase order lifecycle, including order creation, submission, tracking, acknowledgment, and fulfillment
  • Review and verify purchase orders are accurate and compliant with agreements and pricing terms
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate order processing, packaging, and shipping
  • Manage the sample request process for retailers and internal stakeholders
  • Support sales team with adhoc operational tasks
  • Collaborate internally on upcoming launches and projects to ensure deliverables are clear
  • Partner with demand planning, 3PL managers and 3PL contacts to maintain adequate inventory
  • Continue to explore opportunities to enhance purchase order workflows, minimize errors, and optimize overall efficiency
  • Share out weekly sell in data to sales and ops
  • Other duties as required

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in coordinating with domestic and international 3PLs, demonstrating a solid understanding of retail-specific tasks and logistics management
  • Familiar with facilitating the onboarding process for new retailers, including reviewing vendor guidelines and collaborating effectively with sales, operations, and demand planning teams
  • Basic understanding of retailer's vendor guidelines, and able to provide assistance to 3PLs and addressing inquiries promptly and accurately
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare 3PLs for new retail product launches by effectively communicating retailer-specific requirements, such as RFID tags, kitting instructions, and case pack information
  • Proven expertise in managing the end-to-end purchase order lifecycle
  • Must be very comfortable with excel (xlookup, sumifs, pivot charts/tables, etc)
  • Experience with project management tool (ideally Asana)
  • Familiar with SPS Commerce
  • Clear and proactive communication, including the ability to effectively manage upwards
  • Strong organizational abilities characterized by efficiency and attention to detail
  • Self-starter mentality
