The Role

A Performance Marketing Expert is responsible for implementing Pay-Per-Click media strategies for Amazon based brands, coordinating and quickly understanding, managing, and supporting initiatives that will contribute to the goals and success of multiple PPC campaigns. As a Performance Marketing Expert you will also be responsible to do Search Engine Marketing (SEM) including Search Engine Optimization (SEO) for our brands. For this position, a candidate should be extremely good with numbers and should have great analytical skills.

The main objective should be to ensure that our PPC ads and promotion endeavors have the most astounding return on investment (ROI.). In-depth understanding of TACOS, ACoS & RoAS for Amazon and handling large sets of products within the Amazon eco-system is mandatory.

The successful applicant, in addition to meeting the qualifications below, must be passionate about start-ups and technology as we are a growing global agency. The candidate will have a do-what-it-takes attitude and be a self-starter. Someone who stays on top of current trends and advancements in SEO/PPC technology.

Within D1 Brands, we have different levels of Performance Marketing Experts that align with different responsibilities. We welcome candidates with all experience levels to apply to this position. Some Key Responsibilities

  • Manage Amazon PPC advertising across multiple brands/accounts
  • Focus on success: Run PPC campaigns that achieve our brands’ campaign goals of increased visits, sales, and purchase frequency.
  • Types of Campaigns you will be Running: Sponsored Ads, Sponsored Brands & Sponsored Brand Video, Sponsored Display Ads, DSP
  • Be a good teammate: Coordinate with supply chain and brand management to ensure marketing efforts are aligned. Collaborate with department counterparts
  • Test and Experiment: Test different types of campaigns & placements to optimize ad-spend efficiency
  • Solve problems: Troubleshoot advertising issues such as profit loss, low return, and high ACOS/TACOS
  • Take the lead: Demonstrate the ability to work independently with minimum supervision and report on a daily/weekly/monthly basis
  • Use 3rd party PPC advertising software to facilitate campaign creationStay up to date with PPC (Pay per click) advertising trends
  • Managing campaign budgets & adjusting bids to optimize ROI
  • Maintain and monitor keyword bids, account daily and monthly budget caps, impressions, CTR, conversion rate, and other important account metrics
  • Communication to team and management on project development, timelines, and results

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven 2+ years of experience as an Amazon PPC Manager or Digital Marketing Specialist
  • Familiarity with Amazon Seller Central & advertising console
  • A Bachelor’s degree in statistics, marketing, and/or business (BSc/BA in Marketing, Digital Media)
  • Knowledge of Amazon PPC management, SEO and digital marketing concepts and trends
  • Proficient in Excel/G-Sheet/SpreadsheetsExcellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks
  • Outstanding analytical, interpersonal, problem solving and organizational skills
  • Bonus: Experience managing Amazon PPC advertising with automatic software/toolBonus: Professional certification in Google Ads
