Paid Search Specialist (Amazon Ads)

Commerce Rev is searching for a dynamic, Paid Search (PPC) Specialist to assist in the creation and execution of client acquisition strategies. You will create paid advertising campaigns across Amazon, Walmart, and eBay. Exercising high attention-to-detail and time management, this position will work with the digital marketing team to execute paid search, display and social advertising strategies focused on lead generation across multiple clients. Must be data-driven, detail-oriented, and have the ability to work with others. You will work in a highly dynamic business culture where being a valued team member and continuous learning are your top priorities.

JOB DUTIES:

Develop and create Paid Search campaigns for Marketplace Clients

  • Create Amazon Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and Sponsored Display Ad campaigns on Amazon Seller & Vendor Central for clients
  • Create target ACoS for campaigns based on item sale price and costs
  • Plan and execute, from start to finish, a full range of successful paid media campaigns
  • Sets up paid media campaigns, developing keyword lists, creating ad groups, setting up targeting and creating audience segments
  • Develop a strong understanding of clients' products, competition, industry, marketing goals and objectives
  • Generate, analyze, and present monthly reports via Google Data Studio to the client. Share insights and action plans to exceed client’s KPIs.
  • Stay up to date with the latest SEM and digital marketing latest trends and best practices
  • Create and execute off-Amazon strategies to drive traffic to Amazon via social media and other marketing channels
  • Reviews status and performance of campaigns with Paid Media Manager on a regular basis

Requirements

  • Experienced in PPC/Amazon Ads - Minimum 1 year of Amazon Ads experience
  • Analytical - Strong analytical skills & MS-Excel knowledge
  • Strong communicator - Write concise emails and easily explain difficult advertising concepts in plain English.
  • Efficient - Manage and prioritize time effectively.
  • Problem solver - Identify red flags and connect the dots quickly to move the projects forward.
  • Emotionally intelligent - Good listener, self-aware, receptive to feedback and have the ability to develop a relationship with different people.
  • Relevant experience with Amazon Seller Central & third party products like Helium 10, JungleScout, Teikametrics, Pacvue, etc
  • Experience working with ad budgets of at least $10,000+ per month (preferred)
  • Amazon DSP experience (a plus)
  • In-depth experience with keyword research, bid management, targeting and ad copy testing
  • Extremely organized, self-motivated, and passionate about the paid media platforms including Amazon, Walmart, eBay, Target, Google, Meta, etc.
  • In-depth knowledge of other Microsoft Office (or Google equivalent) applications: Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including both written and verbal communication

Typical projects in this role include:

Strategy - Prepare campaign strategy to achieve client objectives

Execution - Optimize Amazon Ads, Walmart Ads, and eBay Ads campaigns

Reporting/Insights - Prepare campaign reports, insights, presentations and answer questions about account performance

Training - Spend 5-10% of your time improving the knowledge of PPC.
