We prefer words like "ambitious". Every Service Area needs a Marketer. Without marketing, there can be no growth. What we need is to pair the right Growth Marketer with the right Service Area to unleash potential.
Your Job Responsibilities
Your role will be to create a marketing pipeline from Higher Education sector. This means working closely with the Service Area Director, the Demand Program Lead, and the Marketing Director, in a Growth Marketing Associate position responsible for multiple campaigns.
These campaigns involve owning multiple activity sets. As a marketing generalist, you'll be required to perform in a fast-paced environment as a "jack of all trades and master of some" (ref. T-Shaped Marketer/ V/M-Shaped Marketer).
While you will not be required to have in-depth experience with all marketing activities reflected in the bullets below, your willingness to learn and adapt is an essential element.
- Write thought leadership blogs
- Help create compelling sales collateral that uplifts the service area
- Help research, strategize and set up events like MautiCon, Acquia Engage, DrupalCon, etc.(pre, during, and post-event)
- Create shows like DXP Deconstructed and QA Q&A
- Work on website copy like landing pages
- Create gated content that delivers value and attracts leads
- Be familiar with social media content creation, management and distribution
- Engage with communities, both internal and external.

How you will be supported?Within the Demand Program, we will have a dedicated Social Media Marketer, Events Lead, Designers, Inbound Marketing Specialist, Multimedia Producer and a HubSpot Developer here to support you. Marketing at Axelerant is a large function, with over 15 professionals, who work closely to deliver results as one team.
Continuous access to mentorship, training, a Career Manager, and a Performance Coach is provided to every team member.

What Would Success Look Like For You?If you possess the right drive, within the next six months, you will create and follow your content calendar, launch a YouTube show, create a lead pipeline, scale content production, and complete service-level market research.Your Work's ImpactYour work will help bring in client and revenue leads for Axelerant's service areas.
