What You Will Do
We are looking for an ambitious, self starter to join our e-commerce team as Ecomm Sales Ops Manager. In this role, you will focus on managing and execution for ecommerce operations day to day management and projects including new product launches, kitting projects, sampling procedures, bundles, and other special projects. You will own the relationship with our 3PL and own continuous improvement processes as it relates to D2C and other ecomm channel profitability improvements like parcel savings, and shipment optimization. On the sales operations side, you will also own ecomm emerging channel relationship management and growth. You will lead strategy for new and emerging accounts including assortment, pricing, and trade spend. You will work cross-functionally with the BAT (Business Analytics Team) and operations team to manage to forecast plans across all owned accounts. You will be a game changer to elevate current processes across ecommerce projects and growth opportunities, and bring significant sales growth and profitability to the Chomps business!
Responsibilities
- Lead customer relationship management and strategy for all new & emerging e-commerce retailers & customers including eTail sites (Walmart, Target, Vitacost) and other emerging channels i.e. GoPuff, DoorDash, HungryRoot, Misfits and other similar.
- Oversee day to day operations across all e-commerce emerging channels including pricing strategy, promotion and trade strategy, merchandising and oversee forecasting for each account in collaboration with the Sr Analyst, Ecomm Ops & BAT team. Work in collaboration with Ecomm advertising associate on paid search budgets and performance.
- Work in collaboration with e-commerce operations Sr Analyst and BAT team to improve forecast accuracy
- Establish & own new product launch and/or new partner launch timelines. Manage operations execution across the marketing team.
- Manage new and special ecomm operations projects including custom kitting, sampling procedures, bundles, and other items offered on D2C like swag/merchandise
- Recommend and initiate optimizations that drive operational efficiencies and/or an enhanced customer experience, collaborating with 3PL Manager & Operations functional leads on CI projects as needed.
- Manage 3PL relationship for E-commerce including inventory & continuous improvements
- Own ongoing improvement process for parcel & shipment savings on Chomps.com and other direct to consumer channels
Who You Are
- Bachelor's degree in Management, Sales, Operations or related field
- 5+ years of experience in ecommerce sales operations or other similar role
- Prior industry experience in food, CPG, and/or grocery/natural is preferred, but not required
- Experience managing cross-team projects and execution
- Experience with NetSuite preferred
- Outstanding communication (both verbal and written)
- Proven track record of strong relationship management skills
- Experience managing external partners - 3PL, fulfillment partners preferred
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment, effectively manage multi-project workload to meet deadlines, while ensuring a high standard of quality
