In this position...
The Online Digital Team is seeking an experienced Ecommerce Strategy and Communications Leader to drive our online sales and marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing and executing ecommerce strategies via management consulting or ecommerce experience, as well as strong communication skills to effectively engage with stakeholders.
This is a remote position, but we prefer candidates who are in the Eastern or Central time zones. Travel is expected to be for a few days once a month.
Responsibilities
What you'll do...
- Lead a 3-member team.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to ensure our ecommerce initiatives remain competitive.
- Provide thought leadership on long range goals and plans.
- Synthesize roadmaps, competitive data, qualitative and quantitative data to establish strategic operating plans.
- Establish best-in-class internal communications to communicate value delivered from the digital team to stakeholders.
- Assist and/or counsel product teams on roadmap development.
Qualifications
You'll have...
- Master's Degree (preferably in Business Administration or Computer Science), or a combination of education and equivalent work experience
- 3 + years of experience of management consulting experience, preferably with a top-tier management consulting firm.
- 3 + years of eCommerce experience to include understanding of ecommerce terms, tools and measurements.
- 3 + years of strong story telling/narrative experience engaging effectively at all levels from executive leadership to customers, across geographies and cultures.
- 2 + years of PowerPoint experience, including tools such as thinkcell.
Even better, you may have...
- Master’s degree in business administration or computer Science or related field
- Strong Digital and Technical experience
- Extensive Strategy and Communication experience
- Experience with Agile, Lean, and Design Thinking principles.
- Experience designing and building digital products and bringing them to market.
