This is a remote role, and is open to candidates based in the state(s) of California, Pennsylvania, New York, Utah, Florida, or Colorado, and must have the right to work within the United States.
What you’ll do:
As our agency looks to significantly expand and improve our existing Amazon services division, we require an experienced leader to oversee and optimize our Amazon operations. The Director of Amazon will be responsible for scaling and enhancing our service of managing Amazon store setup, optimization, advertising, and day-to-day operations for clients seeking growth on the Amazon marketplace.
This is a critical role for the growth and development of our current Amazon services capabilities. The Director of Amazon will refine processes, systems, and training materials to effectively onboard new clients and manage their Amazon presence. They will lead a team focused on store optimization, listings, advertising, logistics, customer service, and reporting to drive improved performance and ROI for our expanding base of Amazon clients. This role is essential for leveling up our agency's Amazon services to meet rising client demand in this space.
- Optimize and expand the agency's suite of Amazon services including store setup, listings optimization, advertising, logistics, and customer service.
- Build a team of Amazon account managers. Recruit, onboard, and develop team members.
- Create and refine training programs, operating processes, and tools to effectively onboard and manage Amazon clients.
- Consult with clients to understand their e-commerce goals, develop Amazon strategies, and oversee successful execution and optimization over time.
- Closely track and report on key Amazon KPIs including sales, traffic, conversions, reviews, advertising ROI, etc for clients. Identify opportunities for improvement.
- Oversee Amazon PPC campaign strategy, setup, management, and optimization for clients. Measure and report on results.
- Research and stay on top of Amazon trends, algorithm changes, and platform updates. Incorporate learnings into client accounts.
- Develop and implement strategies to drive product visibility, traffic, conversions, and sales on Amazon for clients.
- Handle account health tasks like inventory/pricing monitoring, customer service, and performance evaluations.
- Conduct regular business reviews with clients to report on progress, results, and strategy.
- Monitor client advertising budgets, service contracts, and invoicing.
- Represent the agency as an Amazon expert at client meetings, conferences, and events.
- Research and evaluate new tools, software, and services to improve and expand the agency's Amazon offerings.

- Skill with Amazon reporting tools, Seller Central, etc.
- Understanding of SEO/metadata best practices to improve product visibility.

- Experience with Amazon marketing tools like promos, coupons, product launches.
- Proficiency with ecommerce automation software, analytics platforms, etc.
- Ability to identify and troubleshoot technical issues.

- Experience managing and developing a team.
