About The Role

As a Copywriter you'll use your strong copywriting and editorial skills to create content that brings to life our positioning and fuels thought leadership, drives engagement and generates inbound leads to build the sales pipeline. A portfolio of written work that demonstrates your abilities is a must-have for this role.

Working with internal experts, you'll have a rare opportunity to create truly meaningful content –– helping customers understand how to start and change their careers for the better. You'll partner closely with Design, Product Marketing, Email Marketing, and more to drive student understanding and action.

We're looking for someone who can bring big, bold conceptual ideas to the table, have their finger on the pulse of the latest social media and content trends, and easily write copy across a variety of formats and consumer touchpoints, especially email, websites and landing pages, PR, blogs, social and video. You should be able to apply data and user research insights to copy development, and be comfortable with fast-paced iterations and adjustments based on feedback.

Responsibilities

  • Create clear and appealing communication of our company identity and brand story
  • Ideation and research for our Content Marketing alongside the Content Marketer and Email Marketer
  • Regular writing of SEO optimised blog posts
  • Create copy for email, social media and video
  • Produce copy for performance marketing needs, from Facebook and Tik Tok ads to Youtube videos
  • Ongoing improvement of the content (and results) on our website
  • Create engaging content for our Social Media
  • Perform the day-to-day community management of our social media channels
  • Optimise the results from all our email campaigns
  • Optimise Brand Awareness and our Thought Leadership
  • Use data analysis (Google Analytics, our CRM, and other sources) to inform your decisions
  • You may not know what CRO and A/B tests are, but you're going to read up on them right after reading this

Requirements

Minimum

  • 2-3+ years of work experience as a copywriter or content editor
  • 1+ years of experience actively involved in the brand messaging for a large consumer or business facing brand
  • A qualification in creative writing, journalism, marketing, English, or a related field
  • Perfect written communication skills, and near-perfect verbal communication skills
  • A track record of exceeding targets and ambition
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing as a whole
  • A working knowledge of Google Analytics and other data analysis tools
  • Practical experience with SEO

Preferred

  • 3+ years of copywriting experience, including experience in thought leadership, brand messaging, and co-ordinating the rebranding of a company
  • A track record of excellent brand-writing skills, evidenced by creative awards and public accolades
  • Experience writing copy for a brand that reaches hundreds of thousands of consumers monthly
  • Experience as an editor of a large-scale digital marketing platform (eg a blog, website)
