Description

As the Hidden Crown Business Development & eCommerce Associate, you will play a pivotal role supporting core day-to-day tasks in the business development & ecommerce scope. Reporting to the Brand Manager, Hidden Crown, and working closely with our operational & warehouse teams based in SLC, you will oversee a portfolio which supports operations, fulfillment, product lifecycle management and backend e-commerce needs.

Effective collaboration is key within this role as our Business Development & eCommerce Associate will work closely with Finance, Marketing, Product and other data owners across the organization to ensure alignment across teams and influence operational initiatives to support achievement of business targets.

Business Development & Operations

  • Liaise with SLC warehouse operations, and lead inventory management and day to day operations (i.e. management of OOS, update of OOS items, potentially help to manage backorders by adding tags and dates in Shopify (if implemented at Hidden Crown (in the works) as well as initiatives within Special Projects
  • Manage the fulfillment process beginning to end (working with Supply Chain on bi-weekly replenishment meetings, forecasting, supply & demand planning)
  • Manage all Master SKU Documentation for the brand (SKU, description, SRP, COGS etc) and keep this regularly updated with any new additions to allow for consistent margin analysis / pricing analysis
  • Work with key stakeholders to identify process improvement opportunities, develop and quantify improvement recommendations, implement process improvements, and work in a culture of continuous improvement
  • Support product Lifecycle Management: Monitoring product performance, gathering customer and brand feedback, and identifying opportunities for updates. This would be in tandem with our Product Development Team

eCommerce & Other Project Support

  • Quick management of back-end website needs, and day to day web troubleshooting
  • Work closely with our web developer team for site optimization, programming, testing operations for promotions and site updates
  • Real-time updates on e-Commerce backend, including the posting of timely banners and pushing blogs live
  • Pull reports on site performance, how pages are performing, what is being utilized, what is not? Work with an internal center of excellence on website optimization plans based on these findings
  • Support leadership in implementing projects from end-to-end (I.e. pricing analysis, loyalty programs, technological innovations, external reach outs etc.)
  • Support with all other ad hoc duties and responsibilities as assigned

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree is required; a degree in supply chain management, business administration or a related field is preferred
  • 2+ years of experience as an operations coordinator, business development manager, ecommerce coordinator or a similar role in scope, seniority & responsibility is preferred
  • Professional experience using Microsoft Excel and prior experience working with supply planning systems (i.e., NetSuite, Demand Works, etc.) is strongly preferred
  • Basic understanding of ecommerce platforms, supply chain systems, fulfillment, financial forecasting, and stakeholder management
  • Ability to take ownership in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Meticulous with details and incredibly organized
  • A data-driven mindset and the ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Experience in the beauty and/or consumer packaged goods industry is a plus.
