Job Description
The Alliance Operations Manager is responsible all operational needs that support our Strategic and Foundational Alliance partners. This position responsible for the overall productivity and effectiveness of our Alliance teams and programs to increase the growth of our Alliance business in the Americas region, with a key influence to create global standards around Alliance management to our EMEA and APAC alliance teams. Reporting to the Head of AMER Growth Operations, this leader also works closely with key stakeholders to ensure the appropriate objectives and priorities enabled within the sales organization are supported.
Responsibilities
- Define and manage the deal registration / MDF / Co-Op funding process for Strategic and Foundational Partners.
- Define the requirements for managing and maintaining our partner certification counts working with the corporate operations team and our alliance teams
- Build a community of Alliance operations, specifically with our four strategic alliances (Salesforce, Adobe, Google and Amazon) by aligning with the alliance enablement leads for each of those alliance teams
- Provide standards and guidance for the following reports and work with our Growth Reporting and insights team to produce ongoing reports and insights
- Monthly / Quarterly / Annual alliance scorecard and executive business reviews
- Annual Alliance revenue target setting
- Alliance performance reporting including revenue, certifications and co-op funding
- Coordinate with our Growth Orchestration team to represent partner account lists and partner technology opportunities
- Manage and socialize the Alliance Partner framework which defines our partner categories, revenue definitions and Salesforce.com (SFDC) tagging requirements
- Provide requirements for all thing Alliance related to our Growth Integration and Governance lead
- Act as an advocate to the rest of the company in representing our Alliance teams
Qualifications
- Deep expertise in working in a partner ecosystem, specifically related to technology services of partner software / platforms.
- Knowledge of partner technologies and platforms
- Strong experience with progressive sales automation systems and demonstrated ability to improve sales productive
- Demonstrated ability to define, refine and implement sales processes, procedures and policies
- Proven proficiency in identifying, diagnosing, and resolving problems of all levels of complexity, prioritizing critical client issues and identifying department needs
- Strong interpersonal and team building skills; ability to work with a diverse team and influence/ drive change across functional and business boundaries
- Strong technical, research, problem-solving and collaboration skills
- Ability to develop and present to executive management and board
- Expert in BI tools and CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Successful track record of working effectively at all levels within the organization
- Influential negotiation skills are necessary
Experience
- Bachelor's degree in business, sales/marketing, or related discipline, MBA preferred
- 7-10 years of experience working in sales, business or marketing operations, or business management and leading a team
- Experience as a sales rep or manager is a plus
Additional Information
The anticipated salary range for this position is: $113,000 - $182,850
Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography.
