Advertising Solutions Manager

The Advertising Solutions Manager at Channel Bakers is the key driver to our company’s inaugural self-service program. You are the catalyst that leads success for our emerging clients, ensuring that all advertising strategies are executed on time and to budget.

As a consultative Advertising Solutions Manager, you will have the confidence and competence to support a high-volume range of diverse new-to-market clients with less media spend, and you will work in a hybrid capacity of onboarding new clients and managing existing ones.

You are a strong communicator, serving as the primary point of contact for all new client interactions and seamlessly sharing information and data to all stakeholders during the onboarding process. With acute attention to detail, you oversee, and track successful low-touch campaign strategies and tactics, including click credits, budget pacing, and customer deliverables. You are a guru on all things related to Search Strategy and Demand Side Platform (DSP), and utilize this knowledge to leverage optimal outputs for our clients.

You are a skilled Excel user and are able to prepare advertising reports, interpret data and develop insights. You clearly and comfortably delegate both routine and important tasks, and provide help and direction as required.

You are able to communicate clearly and succinctly in a variety of communication settings and styles and can get messages across that have the desired effect. You make good decisions based on a combination of analysis, wisdom, experience and judgment and are often sought out by others for advice or solutions. You enjoy working hard, are action oriented and are full of energy for things you see as challenging. You value time and know how to use it effectively to optimize your own efficiency.

Salary: $33.65 per hour + commissions based on monthly recurring revenue

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum 3+ years of Marketing or Advertising account management experience in a fast moving, client facing environment
  • Degree in Public Relations, Marketing, Advertising, Business or Communications preferred.
  • Experience of Amazon Advertising and exposure to Demand Side Platform (DSP) and Skai a bonus.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and qualitative skills - numbers don’t scare you!
  • Proficient user of standard office software (MS Office etc).
  • Intermediate or advanced excel skills are essential
  • Proven ability to cultivate and foster new relationships and deepen existing ones
  • Proven track history of driving your own professional and personal development

Everyday Tasks

  • Field prospective inbound leads from multiple sources and respond to inquiries in a timely manner
  • Schedule preliminary calls to qualify prospects for the self-service program and determine proper fit for our services
  • Coordinate kick-off strategy calls and collaborate with clients to develop and implement successful campaign strategies
  • Manage client onboarding and portal setup, ensuring a smooth and seamless transition onto our platform
  • Partner with the internal Account Management team to set up new accounts and ensure proper tracking and optimization of campaigns
  • Monitor budget pacing & management, click credits tracking, search campaign launches, strategic and tactical optimization, and all DSP activity
  • Prepare advertising reports, interpret data and insight development
  • Lead monthly follow-up meetings with clients to review performance and discuss strategies for improvement
  • Respond to client questions and concerns in ticketing system (i.e. Hubspot) in a timely and professional manner
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices, providing insights and recommendations to clients
  • Ad hoc client requests as required

  • Office Location: Anaheim, CA or Remote in US
  • OT Classification: Non-exempt
  • Role Classification: Individual Contributor
  • Reports To: Director of eCommerce
  • Travel: Occasional overnight travel required 5%- 10% of the time
  • Hours: Full - Time (Mon - Fri 8am to 5pm) with flexible working potential
